Steri-Write stands behind our product. Quality is an essential part of our company philosophy, so our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Steri-Write offers a one-year limited warranty. Steri-Write warrants that any new products sold will be free from defects in material, electronics and workmanship when used under specified and normal operating conditions to the original end-user purchaser for the warranty period. This warranty is void if repairs are necessitated by accidents, misuse, abuse, water damage or fire. Limited Warranty Period: The Limited Warranty Period of Steri-Write products is defined as beginning on the date of purchase and warrants the product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of original end-user purchase and is not transferable.

 

During the Limited Warranty Period if a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, Steri-Write will, at its option, repair or replace defective parts of the product, at no charge to the customer, or exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, subject to the following limitations/exceptions:

 

• This warranty does NOT cover damage, defect or failure caused by or resulting from misuse or abuse; accident; destruction; alteration; tampering; modification; misapplication of this product; misuse; flood; fire; earthquake; or other external causes.

• This warranty does NOT cover damage, defect or failure caused due to violation of written instructions furnished by Steri-Write.

• This warranty does NOT cover damage, defect or failure if general maintenance guidelines are disregarded.

• This warranty does NOT cover damage, defect or failure due to neglect, theft, vandalism or environmental conditions.

• This warranty does NOT cover any freight or transportation damage or repair in any case.

• This warranty does NOT cover loss of use during a period the product is being serviced, at repair facility or awaiting parts/repairs.

• This warranty does NOT cover damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Steri-Write.

• This warranty does NOT cover damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a Steri-Write certified service technician.

• This warranty does NOT cover the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged, resealed products, including but not limited to sale of product on internet auction sites, surplus sellers or bulk resellers.

 

A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Steri-Write’s property.

This warranty is effective ONLY if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate correctly in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and authorized is NOT covered; nor are repair of products damaged by these modifications covered under this warranty.

 

No refunds will be given. Steri-Write reserves the right to make product substitutions if replacement parts for defective materials are unavailable.

 

If this product fails to operate properly, in order to obtain warranty service during the first year of ownership, you must first contact Steri-Write before expiration of the one-year period. Steri-Write will work to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for the situation. If this product requires service or replacement during the first year, the product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or thirty (30) days from the date of service or repair, whichever provides longer coverage.

 

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE TWELVE MONTH DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above may not apply to you.

 

IN NO EVENT SHALL STERI-WRITE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR THE BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
